Karina Pasian Signed to Def Jam

It isn’t every day that Def Jam Recordings president Jay-Z, Bad Boy CEO Sean Combs and Interscope chairman Jimmy Iovine all vie for the attentions of a teenage girl. But 14-year-old R&B singer Karina Pasian is no ordinary teen. She’s been described as a cross between Alicia Keyes and Whitney Houston.
She finally accepted Def Jam’s 7 figure deal.

Karina was featured in Quincy Jones’ ” We Are The Future” backed by an ensemble of stars.

Karina Pasian’s bio:

13-year old Karina Pasian’s first steps were guided by her love of music and dance, and her best friend has always been the piano. She began performing for audiences in schools and other public institutions at the age of 5. By age 8, she was participating in ceremonies such as the inauguration of Councilman Miguel Martinez, Congressman Mclaughlin, and Manhattan District Attorney Morgenthau. Pasian has performed for the President of the Dominican Republic, former Dominican President Hipolito Mejia, Dominican President Leonel Fernandez, New York Governor George Pataki, and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, among other public figures, and alongside the likes of Alicia Keys, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, and Prince.

From what I understand, Karina’s dad is a real jerk. It’s being said that he’s going to ruin her career before it even takes off. I know that he recently tried to fire her co-manager Victor Black. Victor was the one responsible for her getting the deal with Def Jam.

Victor Black is now managing my boy “David”Hes 16 years old But when hes on the beat machine it sounds like hes is as old as dre,swissbeats,kanye west I mean this boy is so fucking creaive.Once u hear his music you will want to fall out.People thought he went to school for this shit and he never left the how thats hot deicated he is

well u shouldnt believe everythin u hear bcuz i kno her father is not da type who would do dat. he’s very nice n he takes her music career seriously so he wouldnt do somethin dat will hurt her chances. by the way karina earned wat she got, shes been workin for many years n she always had her friends n family support ESPECIALLY from her father so dont u go on n call him a jerk cuz hes twice da man u’ll ever b. (truth hurts dont it lolz)

Karina is a very talented young lady, she is beautiful and I know that she will make it in this buisness she is humble and smart and i consider her like my little sister, alot of people dislike her for the fact that they think she in conceited but just because someone is prety does not mean that they are conceited..she isnt she’s a very sweet and funny girl! I love her to death!

im 1 of karina’s friends at school n i would like to say that she rocks. she is really dwn to earth n really funny. about her dad, i only met him once but he seems a little up tight about karina n her stuff.

I know Personally, and i can honestly say that her father is Very commited to her and his two other chilren, he isnt a jerk, he’s just Strict to the extent in which his children Completly Desire to have and fulfill a goal, such as his star Karina, she;s cool always a smile on her face, imagine if she wwasn’t round him, and if he was more leaniant, Do you think She would’ve gotten this far, We’ll never know, but the fact is that in spite of her father being a so called JERK which he isn’t she’s made it very far, and appreciates everything her father Does for her.

i’ve had the opportunity to hang out with the pasian family and karina and her dad are very humble, down to earch people. i’m sure the person who commented that her father is a jerk is the co-manager that got fired… he’s the only one that seems to have that opinion. rafael pasian rocks!!!

there is no way that man can be a jerk, from the videos..that man seens extremely dedicated to his children to have that much patience and karina seems very happy… as well as her brother and sister. He may be strict but thats probably what got her this far…and she’ll appreciate it more then she might now as soon as she becomes a older.

Karina is a very talented young lady. I can’t stop listening to her song, Cry. Not only is she talented, but she’s smart and mature. And if you don’t know her dad personally, you shouldn’t be saying anything about him! He seems to be committed to his children, and I commend that! Go Karina! I’m waiting on that album.
