Shane Gibson, the Bahamas’ immigration minister who was photographed  with Anna Nicole Smith, was forced to resign yesterday after speculation that he had given Smith preferential treatment in gaining residency.

A Bahamas newspaper recently published photographs showing Anna Nicole Smith and the Immigration Minister in bed, both of which were fully clothed and showed Gibson embracing her. Reports first revealed that they were merely friends he was visiting her on her birthday. Rumors have been flying around the Internet that the two were actually sleeping together.
